About Us

Alpha Beta Nu Omega is a distinguished chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA), a historically African American Greek-lettered organization founded in 1908 at Howard University. As a chapter, we proudly uphold the core principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service, which guide all our activities and initiatives. Sisterhood represents the deep bond and supportive network we create among our members, fostering personal growth, mentorship, and lifelong friendships. Scholarship emphasizes our commitment to academic excellence and intellectual development, encouraging members to achieve their highest potential in education and professional pursuits. Service reflects our dedication to making a tangible difference in our communities through volunteerism, civic engagement, and programs that address social challenges.

Meaningful contributions to both our local community and the broader mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha mark our chapter’s rich history. Through impactful programs ranging from educational initiatives and health awareness campaigns to mentorship and cultural enrichment activities, we consistently demonstrate our commitment to leadership, social responsibility, and positive change. These programs are not only a reflection of our dedication to excellence but also a testament to the enduring legacy of leadership that Alpha Beta Nu Omega embodies. By combining tradition with innovation, we continue to inspire, uplift, and empower both our members and the communities we serve.
